To be able to handle all threads and computing in real-time in Windows or Mac OSX or Linux we are going to see CPUs come with 2048 64-bit cores on one motherboard. Today we have from 4-12 cores CPUs.
Today’s computers have already 100-150 processes when they start up with maybe up to 10 threads each counting 1000-1500 cores needed to give real-time computation. Real-time means no multitasking between apps and threads.
